ABOUT me

Born in the Dominican Republic, raised in miami and based in NYC. Aside from being a professional dancer (with works by Bryan Arias, Bobby Jene Smith, Micheala Taylor, Mark Caserta, Shannon Gillen, Johan Ingar, Rosie Herrera, Ohad Nahari, and many others), I am also a photographer, creative director, makeup artist, stylist, movement coach, model and a big dreamer.

founder of SHIFT (formerly known as CONFIDANZ), a Series created to provide a safe space to begin a conversations with collaborators. in this case, a dialogue between photographer and dancer. Discussions about basic photographic tools that may create a sense of familiarity when presented with the opportunity work in a photoshoot. The series is used as a way to begin the practice of feeling more confident and comfortable when collaborating with other artists, as well as in front of the camera. These workshops cater to replenish the dancer’s/subject’s knowledge from a photographer’s perspective, allowing them to feel prepared and their best selves.

My mission in life is to build community within photography and film through communication, awareness, kindness, silliness and movement. a latina that believes in STRENGTH through connection & confidence.
